ProperShare is redefining real estate investment by connecting property owners and investors through an innovative, transparent, and inclusive platform for shared ownership.
Overview
ProperShare is a real estate startup focused on simplifying the property-buying and investment process. As a UX Designer, I worked on crafting an intuitive interface that enhances property discovery, listing management, and user navigation. This project was developed in collaboration with the ProperShare team as they continue working on securing sponsors and launching the platform.
Problem Statement: Navigating the real estate market can be overwhelming due to complex property listings, inefficient search tools, and unclear information. ProperShare aimed to streamline this experience by designing a modern, user-friendly platform for buyers, sellers, and investors.
Approach & Design Process
User Research & Competitive Analysis
Conducted market research to understand how users search for and evaluate properties, interviewed potential buyers and sellers to identify frustrations with existing platforms, and analyzed competitor offerings to uncover opportunities for differentiation.
Wireframing & Prototyping
Designed low to high-fidelity wireframes to simplify the property search and listing process, developed a filtering system to help users find properties based on location, budget, and preferences, and created interactive prototypes to validate usability.
Usability Testing & Iterations:
Conducted A/B testing to refine search, filtering, and property detail layouts, improved information hierarchy and readability to enhance decision-making, and prioritized accessibility to create an inclusive user experience.
Marketing & Branding Materials
Beyond UI/UX design, contributed to ProperShare’s brand presence by creating marketing materials to engage potential users and investors, including social media content such as an Instagram post and story to promote key features and drive engagement, as well as a print and digital flyer to showcase ProperShare’s offerings to potential users and sponsors.
